The idea to organise an exhibition with some pieces from my art collection, gained support and resulted in a first small exhibition. From a small exhibition it evolved over the years into a well respected international festival with rewarded artists. At one point it became part of the city marketing of the town Sint-Niklaas.
Its ambition was to present a wide range of creativity and to be a meeting place for exchanging acquired experiences. As such, interaction between artists and visitors through workshops was a pivotal part, which made our festival unique of its kind.
As a founding father, I was responsible for the curationship and overall organisation of each Festival, along with a talented team.
Artists I worked with
Arne Quinze, Eugene and Louise, WKinteract, The London Police, Bast, Swoon, Blek le Rat, Slinkachu, Franco Brambilla, Dzia Krank, Jeremyville, Microbo, … and many others.
