Art collection Reina Sofia
1986 – 2014

While active in the mail art network, art from thousands of artists worldwide came my way. In addition, I collected lots of other art material during my travels and festival curatorship. This resulted in an enormous collection of books, magazines, records, tapes, CD’s, art pieces, video art, 3D art, …

The collection has gathered around 10,000 items or pieces from more than 1,500 artists around the world, including: Shozo Shimamoto and Ryosuke Cohen (Japan) / Guy Bleus and Luc Fierens (Belgium) / Pawel Petasz and Andrzej Düdek Durer (Poland) / Jon Held Jr., Yoko Ono, Buz blurr (Russel Butler), Picasso Gaglione and Carlo Pittore (United States) / Clemente Padín (Uruguay) / Guilermo Deisler (Germany) / Edgardo Antonio Vigo (Argentina) / Paulo Bruscky (Brasil) / Artpool (Hungary) / Serge Segay (Rusia) / and countless more.

In 2014 this art collection was acquired by the National Museum Reina Sofia Centre of Arts in Madrid (Spain), and is since then located in their archives.

From this art collection a few pieces remained with me, especially those pieces who were important to me.
